Workshops & Masterclasses

These workshops and masterclasses are designed to work on specifc skills that are requested frequently by our dancers,  that we don't have time to focus on specifically during normal class time.

Numbers are kept low to allow maximum attention to each participant.

Please pay via BACS or Cash in class - Payment secures the space. Strictly first come, first served.

Strength & Body Conditioning Workshop -Friday 30th September 2016 - 6.30PM - 7.30PM​
(Maximum: 12 dancers)  - £5 per dancer​ - 7yrs +

Get your body ready for the new cheer & dance season after the long summer break. Working on exercises to build upper body strength and condition & tone the whole body.

Strengthen everything from your wrists to your ankles and condition abdominal and back muscles. Test your strength and see how much fit you really are in this all over body workout!

A homework sheet will be given out to continue some of the drills at home to continue progression.

Splits Masterclass - Friday 7th October 2016
- 6.30PM - 7.30PM​
(Maximum: 12 dancers)  - £5 per dancer​ - 6yrs +

If you are working on your Right, Left or Box splits this is the class for you!

Learn the best & safest drills and exercises to take home to achieve or maintain your splits on BOTH sides!

Those who have both sides can concentrate on box/middle splits, making sure you have the correct alignment and can work dance choreography into your splits.

A homework sheet will be given out to continue some of the drills at home to continue progression.

Flexibility & Limbering Workshop - Friday 14th October 2016 - 6.30PM - 7.30PM

 (Maximum: 12 dancers)  - £5 per dancer​ - 6yrs +

Want to work on your flexibilty? Then this is the workshop for you. 

Working on shoulders, hips, back as well as fingers and wrists, you will practice drills to increase flexibilty in order to perform more complicated movements in dance and gymnastics/acrobatics.

Limbering includes some gymnastic elements such as Bridges, Handstands, Limbers and Illusions.

A homework sheet will be given out to continue some of the drills at home to continue progression.
