Classes

Class Levels ...

Junior Street Dance
Ages 6-12yrs (School Year 2  - Year 7).  No previous training. Emphasis is on  skills relating to Hip Hop, Street Jazz and Commercial MTV Style Street moves and routines.
  

Junior Cheerleading - Level 1    
Ages 7yrs - 14yrs old 
with little or no prior training. Basic Dance, Cheer Stunts, cheer Jumps and Tumbling. Suitable for beginners. 



Mini Cheerleading - Level 1    
Ages 4yrs - 6yrs old 
with little or no prior training. Basic Dance, Cheer Stunts, cheer Jumps and Tumbling. Suitable for beginners. 

 

 

Junior Cheerleading - Level 2  

Ages 7yrs - 14yrs old. Must have the following skills - Cartwheels, Handstand,A Strong Bridge, Front Walkover and Back Bend (from standing) and Back Walkover.



Jazz Dance & Lyrical Technique Class
Ages 7yrs - 16yrs. Beginner & Intermediate technique in Jazz & Lyrical dance styles. Classes include Technique & Flexibility training with emphasis on jazz & Lyrical Terminology, Turns, Leaps & Jump combinations. Routines will be in the styles of Modern Jazz, Musical Theatre Jazz, Street Jazz, Lyrical & Contemporary styles.



Tap Dance (TBD)
Ages 7yrs + Beginner-intermediate. Tap technique taught from Grades 1 - Grade 3.



Acrobatic Dance
Ages 7yrs +  Must be taken with a Ballet or Jazz Technique Class , this style combines the strength & skill of a gymnast with the grace and choreography of dance. A mix of skills focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, limbering and tumbling, dancers will learn to combine dance technique  with contortion and gymnastic skills from Forward Rolls to Roundoffs, to Back Hand Springs to Ariels.

Private Lessons
All Ages. Bookable & payable in advance. Usually available in 1 hour slots. Can be used for any style of dance, cheer or tumbling (except Cheer Stunts). Can be shared with up to 3 dancers.

If you want to enhance your skills, prepare a solo for an audition or competition or school talent show. 

(Many of our dancers have won scholarships to Arts Educational School, Italia Conti and Sylvia Young Theatre School)
